General Cancellation Policy
All services will be conducted at their scheduled time unless weather conditions warrant otherwise. Malibu Surf Lesson reserves the right to cancel any service if we feel ocean conditions are too dangerous. However, credit can be applied towards a future lesson, class, etc upon rescheduling due to unsafe conditions.
Cancellation: We require a 72 hour advance notice, when canceling your scheduled appointment, in order to receive a 100% refund (minus the processing fee). In order to receive a 50% refund (minus the processing fee), we require a 48 hour advance notice. There is no refund and/or credit given for those who DO NOT show for a scheduled appointment without prior notification.
There is a $25 processing fee for all services cancelled regardless.
Rescheduling: You must give at least 48 hours notice prior to your scheduled appointment in order to receive a full credit. You can then reschedule for a future lesson using your credit only. The first rescheduled service is free. If you need to reschedule your service again, a fee of $25 will apply.
Malibu Surf Lesson is not responsible for expenses incurred due to travel delays, flight cancellations or illness/sickness.
Students (clients) must provide a signed Malibu Surf Lesson LIABILITY FORM the day of the service or Malibu Surf Lesson's instructors reserve the right NOT to teach potential students (clients). Students (clients) will not be entitled to any refunds and/or services, if they do not sign and bring liability form(s).
It is the student's (clients) responsibility to bring the liability form to the beach. If need be, please communicate with the Malibu Surf Lesson staff to make additional arrangements prior to the day of service.

Surf packages expire 6 months from the date of purchase. However, extensions can be administered and approved by an instructor. Extension approvals are based on schedule and availability. Please call and/or email for additional inquiry.

Gift Certificates are non-refundable, but they never expire. At any time, students (clients) can redeem their gift certificate for the allotted service noted.
Corporate and/or Personal Event deposits are non-refundable. The remaining amount is due on the day of your event. We require a 72 hour advance notice, when canceling your scheduled event. We require a 48 hour advance notice, when rescheduling your event. The first rescheduled service is free. If you need to reschedule your service again, a fee of $25 will apply.
