About our Malibu Surf Lessons & Surfin Instruction

Surfing is an ancient recreational tradition of the Polynesians that can be traced back to as early as 1500 A.D. The "Sport of Kings" has evolved a bit over the years and has grown into a global surfer community. Our goal is to create a peaceful environment through catching waves as an ever growing family.

The feeling of riding your first ocean wave will last a lifetime! At Malibu Surf Lesson, adults, teenagers and kids who want to learn to surf can get totally stoked. If you have always dreamed of picking up a board and heading out into the ocean, now is the time.

Within one half-hour of being in the ocean, we'll have you standing up and riding the whitewater to the beach. Our experienced staff can even help you take your surfing to the next level, whether you want to "hang ten" in Malibu or charge Pipeline, we can get you there.

Every one of our staff has trained hard in the sport of surfing and surfing instruction. We hold dear in our hearts the sacred tradition of "ohana" created in Hawaii. All surf instructors are trained in CPR and First Aid with up to date certifications for infants, children and adults. Our teachers have years of experience as well as lots of personality from living in the mainstream culture of Los Angeles, Malibu and Hollywood.

Our passion is surfing and sharing that passion with others. Everyone at Malibu Surf Lesson is committed to perpetuating the heritage of surfing and creating genuine surfers. Also, the aloha spirit, and a safety first attitude, is what our team strives to create at Malibu Beach in California.
